Making Stickers

 Hello, people of the world! 

I have already shared about my Genshin Character paintings, but here is a video of my speed drawing. I restarted so many times because I just didn't like it. I tried my best and I'll probably get better over the years. But what do you think?

I also made a short video about me making stickers, and how I quit my job to do this. And yeah pretty much I did, I did work a job from 8-3:30 and then I had a job being a single mom for the rest of the time. If you have read or followed me you would know how I did struggle with my decision on how I decided to stop my job and focus on being a mom and on my art and I absolutely love it. 

True I am not making income, I am making a little but it's not stable. I hope it will one day it's just slow, but it is progressing each day. I do plan to get a job once my kids are in school, I just want to be with my kids more and not pay for daycare for that drained me each month.

People may never understand my decision, or what I did from 8-3:30 every day came home tired and exhausted to continue with my day. 

Making stickers was amazing! I don't have a cutting machine so I had to cut by hand. It hurt my hand after doing 50, but still easy. The stickers stick! I just got sticker pages from Walmart and printed my design on it and cut them out. 

Also in other news, I am going to do it! I am going to try selling my products outside of my home, I booked a spot for the 4 of July. I figured it will give me enough time to save up and get my inventory set up. I have never done this before, I kind of did it once before when I did it at Fan X in 2019. I did it with a friend and we did alright there. 

This was Fan X in 2019, we set it up like this, we as in me and my friend. We were there for three days and it was fun hope to do it again.

Also, I make goals of how much artwork I do every week. Lately, I've been suckish at it, this week I set new goals and have been doing alright accomplishing them. It's Wednesday (As of today while I'm doing this blog) and I have done this fan art, working on Ebb and Flow next video if you haven't already go check out the Ebb and Flow channel. I have been working on shorts, which have been really successful and funny.

Also, other news, Easter is over and the next big holiday is Mother's Day!! Yay! I am a mother of two kids and love being a single mama. They mean everything to me and would want to commission artwork for anyone that would like a piece of art for their mothers.

Been working hard and also preparing for my book show. I got some copies of my book and haven't set a date but will definitely do a book signing event and really looking forward to doing it. It will be my first time doing it so I am nervous but also excited cause I am really opening up about what I have done and want to display it.

I suck at painting

If you've following me on Youtube, I have done three vlogs. 

#1 First vlog video is about me changing things around in my office. I have a small area in my bedroom where I have my office. After quitting and focusing more on my art I changed my office around.

#2 Vlog is about how I created a new website, I pondered a lot about it and finally caved in. Took me so long to figure out how it should look and etc. You can visit the website here, https://www.krissyproductions.com/ it has my store full of art, t-shirts, etc. It also talks about how I lost my apple pencil, which was sad.

#3 Vlog is about how I made bookmarks for the first time. 

I hope to make more stuff like bookmarks, and other stuff like stickers, magnets, posters, and such. I do want a Cricut machine, I think it would help make those stuff for me. But for now, I have a website that helps me with that stuff for now. So go check it out, and get stickers, t-shirts, and such. 

I really hope to become a successful artist, it is one of my skills that I feel passionate about, and want it to grow. Recently, someone asked me to paint realistically and I was frightened of that challenge because I'm not that good at painting realistically. And honestly the first time I tried sucked. I started over at least five times before posting the first one.

Oh, it looks so bad. 

After taking a break from it I tried again.

Eh...it's ok but I wasn't satisfied. Painting realistic isn't my strong suit, nor is drawing animals, I think doing animals is hard. I also think painting realistic is hard, it's not what I'm used to.

I tried it again for the third time. And if you couldn't tell, I was painting a character from a game called Genshin Impact. 

UGH! The more I look at it the more I dislike it, I don't know what it is but I just don't like it. I have tried studying realistic painters on TikTok and youtube and yet I still suck. But what I don't suck is painting Nezuko.
